I am having trouble placing an order - getting Error 15005
If you are receiving an error that says "15005 Declined" this means that your card issuer / bank is refusing the payment and it is not a problem with our site. It is actually an indication that our web site is working 100% perfectly as it means the authorization is being presented to your bank, your bank is returning with a code that means not authorized and the order is therefore not placed/ refused.
We cannot see why this is happening exactly (as we only received a not authorized code) but common reasons for this happening are:
- A mistake in the billiing address or name that you entered - this must match exactly to the address your bank has on file, including the things like middle names, correct tel numbers or house/apartment numbers etc.
- An incorrect Customer Verification Number (the security number on the back of your card)
- Your bank doesn't authorize you to place international payments on the internet
- The amount you are trying to pay is over your limit (you could try splitting your booking in multiple orders to have your transaction below that limit)
If the above does not help please contact your bank so they can tell you why the payment is being rejected exactly.
Alternatively you could try a different card or paying by paypal.
If there is some other problem and it is not a 15005 error we can also arrange to send you a paypal invoice which you can pay with a paypal account or also just with a credit card (without needing paypal account). You would need to contact us for this and then send all required booking details by email to us. All terms and conditions, processing fees etc remain the same.
