ITINERARYITINERARY
Pickup at around 9.00 from your accommodation (or 14.00 if you wish to go in the afternoon). We board on our transport and head first towards the village of San Lorenzo, located 15 km outside of Tarija. This a nice colonial village that still preserves the charm of the old times. We will spend about half an hour exploring the main square with the church and the local market before we move to the next stop, Coimata and Tomatitas. These are a popular destination for Bolivians due to their favorable position near the Cordillera de Sama Biological Reserve in a charming rocky valley filled with streams, natural pools and lake, from where locals fish the typical seafood of the region (cangrejitos, doraditos and misquinchitos), true pride of the area. You might also want to to try out the delicious cangrejitos while you are there. Before returning to Tarija we will also stop at San Jacinto, known for its dam and the consequent artificial lake. We will arrive back in Tarija at around 13.00 (or 18.00 for afternoon tours).
