You will be picked up from a meeting point at 6.30 and will be taken from Huacachina to Paracas in order to start your tour. Once in Paracas you will embark on a fantastic boat ride to the Ballestas Islands. You will have the opportunity to explore this paradise and will be able to spot the local fauna on the rocks, such as big groups of sea lions, small penguin families, and a huge variety of sea birds like seagulls, cormorants, pelicans and others. You might also be lucky enough to see dolphins in the water. On your way to the islands, you will also pass by the so-called Candelabra geoglyph - a huge, mysterious stone figure that is said to have a connection with the Nazca Lines. The Ballestas Islands are also famous for the huge deposits of guano (seabird droppings) the local bird fauna has left throughout the centuries on the rocks. This has created a real natural reserve of this important fertilizer that a couple of centuries ago got to become the first Peruvian product as for exportations. You will be back in Paracas at around 10.30, and get dropped off in the centre of the town.
