Users of the Kanootours.com website are required to register an account or supply their details as a guest account, in order to purchase any products. This information will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purposes other than process bookings and to contact the user for feedback about our service. We reserve the right to contact registered users to help with using the booking system or website. We will delete any user accounts upon request.

This information is stored in an encrypted database. Any credit card information given during a booking process is not stored and is only used during that booking process (we do not have access to the credit card information ourselves)
3. Information security
The Kanootours.com web site is secured using a SSL (secured socket layers) certificate. During the checkout process you will be using a secure page (starting with "https") to enter any credit card details which are then processed by the merchant processor. After a user submits his/her credit card details these are processed via a secure page by the Paypal processing gateway. We do not store the credit card details and these are only used during the credit card processing. We do not have the ability to "charge your card", it is only possible that you "send" us a payment. We do not have access to your credit card details during the transacion.
Our web server is fully secure and has passed the PCI DSS security standard checks and regular scanned by an authorised 3rd party certification company (every 3 months) in order to maintain this certificate.
4. Accessing and changing your information
Users can change and update their user account information via the “my account” link that shows on the top right hand side. Simply log in with your email address and password to access all you information.
Users can request a password reset going to the "my account" link on the top right hand side and choosing "forgot password" this will request your email address and send you a new password.
Users can request that their account is deleted or request other help with account maintenance by emailing the request via the contact page.
