The Amazon dominates a large part of the Peruvian territory and there are two main areas where tourism has developed over the years.

One is in  the South-Eastern part of the country, near Cusco and the Bolivian border, with the most visited areas being the Manu National Park and the Tambopata National Reserve.

Top Tip - You should plan a visit to the Amazon after you have completed any high altitude trekking like the Inca Trail because you will lose a lot of your acclimitisation if you descend and spend time in the Jungle areas that are at low altitudes.
