The flight from La Paz to Rurrenabaque is a stunning journey over the Cordillera Real mountains and down to the Amazon jungle. Only taking around 45 minutes this the fastest and most comfortable way to arrive in Rurre - the gateway to the pampas and jungle tours.
Flight schedules change but currently are often 06.15, 08.40, 13.35 and 15.50 are commonly scheduled times. This usually means you must fly the day before your tour starts and fly back the day after it finishes. When booking we ask you to request "first", "second", "third" or "last" times so we can book the best time for you.
N.B - If you book the 6.15 flight and it leaves on time then it is possible to start a tour the same day BUT it is difficult to check if you flight is going or not before going to the airport as they often do not answer so it may mean you travel to the airport for no reason or have a long wait there! We recommend traveling the day before whenever your schedule allows this.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
N.B. The runway in Rurre is now paved but if there are cloudy conditions then flights cannot take off or land due to visability issues, so in the rainy season delays and cancellations are common. If your flight is delayed the system works like a queue and passengers are rescheduled according to who was originally due to fly first when the cancelation took place. If you need to cancel due to delays that cause you rflight to be moved to teh next day, you can receive a full refund on condition you cancel your rescheduled flight before the departure time, return the original ticket to us and supply a photo copy of your passport.
