Amazon Trips
Most people who visit the Amazon region of Bolivia go to the Pampas and many combine this with a trip into the jungle proper in Madidi National Park. The town of Rurrenabaque serves as the starting point for trips into these areas and is accessible via daily flights (45 mins) or by road. Whilst Rurrenabaque receives the most visitors of the Amazon area of Bolivia it is not the only option for visitors. There are relaxing river cruises from the city of Trinidad, trekking and jungle lodges in Amboro National Park, in the far south-east there is the Bolivian Pantanal and for the true explorer a trip to Noel Kempff national park would be an unforgettable experience.
