Canyoning is an exciting and fun activity that involves rappelling down waterfalls to pass from one end of a canyon to the other. This is a beginner level trip that is suitable for all abilities. You must be confident around water and heights of up to 12 meters. No previous experience is required. All specialist equipment is provided
THE DAY : Coroico to The Hacienda – Rappelling down 10 waterfalls!
You will be picked up at 09:00 a.m. in Coroico and taken by car to La Casa de Hacienda, the entrance to the trail to the waterfalls, located just 8 Km. from Coroico. The guides will briefly explain the activities, the ecological characteristics of the route, the distance and time of the trekking till the waterfalls.
In the first dresser, the instructor will give you a detailed explanation about the use of the equipment and the precaution everyone has to take. Then, everyone will dress in a neoprene suit and one of the guides will help with the safety equipment. Then, you are ready to start with the descent of the 8 waterfalls of the canyon.
At the end of the descent, you will arrive to the "Negro" river, where you will return all the equipment and you will enjoy a Box Lunch according to your choice (normal or vegetarian). After a recess, we shall climb though the path to La Casa de Hacienda. There, you will rest and then you will return to Coroico by car, you can spend the night in Coroico, but is also possible return to La Paz the same day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Take your camera and a waterproof bag so you can take photos during the activity. You need to take a full change of clothing plus spear footwear and also you will need footwear that will provide good grip on wet rock (this footwear will get wet)
