Meet at the office at around 13.45 and we the leave for a 50 minute ride along the southern shore of Llanquihue Lake while we enjoy the wonderful landscapes around. We get to the bottom of the volcano and visit the nearby village of Ensenada, from where our hike starts. Our guide will lead you to the entrance of the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and then further up - there will plenty of time to take amazing photos as we continue our hike up the side of the volcano. We will stop at panoramic viewpoints from which you can have a wonderful view of the Petrohue River Valley first, and then of the Llanquihue Lake we passed by on our way to the park. We will then reach the ski centre and relax at the local cafeteria. You can either decide to take the chairlift and go further up or just relax there before we start making our way back to Puerto Varas, arriving at around 19.30.
