You will get picked up from your central accommodation in Arequipa and first taken to the most important places of the city before you set off towards the countryside. You will be able to experience the local Quechua culture in an active way. The itinerary might change slightly but it will definitely include the highlights listed below - during this tour, you will have an overview of Peruvian life and you will be taught about local history, fauna (llamas but not only) and food (like the delicious anticucho).
Valleys around you will leave you speechless - you will be able to enjoy the view of Chili Valley as well as of volcanoes on the background (Misti and Chachani).
Once you get out of the city you will continue your tour along the Via Paisajista to the Arequipa countryside - here you will have the opportunity to see how wheat is processed and all the techniques that are used in stone mills. The tour will finish back in the centre of the city and you will get dropped off in Plaza de Armas.
Highlights include: Plaza de Armas, Centro Histórico, Yanahuara and Carmen Alto viewpoints, Incalpaca outlet and zoo, Sachaca district, Balneario Tingo, Mansion del Fundador, Sabandia Mill, Andenes de Paucarpata.
