Meet up at the office at 9.00am and you will be escorted to the boat to embark on jounrey of around 3.5 up the Beni River to teh El Tacural Lodge. Upon arrival there will be some time to relax in a hammock and the group will be served lunch. In the afternoon, once the miday heat subsides a little, you will be taken on some of the jungle trails by your guide where you will learn about the enviroment and look for animals such as monkies,deer, peccaries,capybaras and a variety of birds. Dinner is served back at the lodge and afterwards the group will go on a night walk to witness the noctural wildlife and listen to the many sounds of the jungle.
DAY 2
Today after breakfast the groups visits an area known as Caquiawara. here we will find a clay lick where we can observe parrots and macaws. You will have great views of these birds from an observation platform and hopefully some good photo opportunities. We return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before we try our hand at fishing in the afternoon. Your guide will take you to a lake or on the Tuichi river for this activity where yu may catch a variety of different kind of fish including surubí pintado, pacú blanco, mamuri, surubí atigrado, and sábalo. Alternatively we can also swim in the Tuichi River or hike again in the rainforest
DAY 3
This morning the group will go for a hike in the Madidi national park jungle and your guide will demonstrate the medicinal usage of a number of plants species, including natural remedies for colds, fever, cuts and other illnesses. Upon return to the lodge you will be taught to make some small handicrafts from materials we will have gathered in the jungle - making yourself a great souvenir! After lunch yu can relax in the hammocks for the final time before we set off by boat again to rurrenabaque arriving approximately 5pm.
