Booking Conditions

Our Internet booking service allows people to book tours in advance and therefore ensure they do not have to wait or miss upon arrival in Bolivia. This service does have some restrictions and limitations.  Please read these booking conditions and guidelines carefully to ensure you understand them. 1. A reservation made via our shopping cart system is a request for a service and NOT A CONFIRMED BOOKING.All requests are  "pending reservations". Until you receive a confirmation from us informing you that your reservation is "confirmed" or that we are not able to fulfill your reservation the status remains as "pending". Please note that we only process internet orders during our office opening hours (see contact us page for details) and you should give us a minimum of 24 hours to process any order.

 2. Some tour descriptions include a recommendation for how far in advance you should book in order to have the best chance of a confirmed booking.These times can change during busy periods so always book as far in advance as possible.As a general rule you should try to give at least 2 or 3 days notice and more during the high season. For single tour items and non "package tours" we advise not booking more than 60 days in advance though as this can complicate the refund procedure (refunds back to credit cards and paypal can only be made within 60 days of payment). 

3. The tour prices shown are prices converted from Bolivianos to US$ to enable booking via the internet. Prices can change during busy periods and can be slightly different when purchased direct in our offices due to exchange rate changes.No refund for these differences can be given (we wont add additional fees on top either.

4. Payments are processed using the PAYPAL system  (credit card direct payments are also processed via this system)  and there is a processing charge of 5% (on top of the prices shown in product descriptions) automatically added during the checkout procedure. 

5. If a tour/ booking is cancelled or we could not confirm due to availability then a full refund will be given via the paypal system.

6. Some tours require a minimum amount of people to be signed up and sometimes this minimum is only reached the day before the tour leaves. In these cases we may confirm your booking as "conditional" which means you have a confirmed place for the tour but the tour will only go ahead if the minimum about of people are booked. Many of these tours usually leave without problem.

7. For many tours and some buses we can provide a voucher via email but in some cases you will need to collect a paper ticket from us before the reserved time. This is indicated in the product descriptions and you will be reminded in any confirmation emails.If for some reason you do not collect your paper ticket for a confirmed tour we are not responsible for any problems that may arise due to this.

8.If you cancel a tour, hotel or transport booking we will do our best to give you a full refund but will deduct any costs incurred by ourselves from the refund. These amounts depend on the tour/hotel/transport provider and the amount of notice given. Please read out cancellation policy for more details.
