1. Overview
Users of the Kanoo tours website are required to register an account in order to purchase any products. This information will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose other than process bookings. We reserve the right to contact registered users to other help with using the booking system or website. We will delete any user accounts upon request.
2. Information We Collect
The user account registration collects and stores the following information (compulsory fields):
Name (first name(s) & surname(s)), address, country of residence, passport number, nationality, food requirements.
The account registration will also store any optionally provided information such as :
Phone number, medical conditions and additional notes or details.
This information is stored in an encrypted database. Any credit card information given during a booking process is not stored and is only used during that booking process.
3. Information Security
The Kanoo Tours web site is secured using a SSL (secured socket layers) certificate. During the checkout process you will be directed to a secure page (starting with https) before any credit card details are processed. After a user submits his/her credit card details these are processed via a secure page by the paypal pro processing gateway. We do not store the credit card details and these are only used during the credit card processing.
4. Accessing and Changing Your Information
Users can change and update their user account information via the “accountant maintenance” link that shows on the right hand side when a user is logged in.
Users can request a password reset by following the “Lost password?” link on the right hand side or be emailed details of their username by following the “forgot your username?” link on the right hand side.
Users can request that their account is deleted or request other help with account maintenance by emailing the request via the contact page
