La Senda Verde is an animal refuge located in Yolosa near the Yungas town of Coroico. It has several lodges you can stay in and is a fantastic place to go and relax for a few days and get to know the rescued animals. There are also volunteer opportunities. More info at http://www.sendaverde.com/
