Flights have been going recently quite regulary and we can now recommend flying to rurrenabaque as a good option again. We still advise that you have extra days in your schedule to allow for these delays as it is possible to have delays at any time of year due to rain. We are moving into the busy season now and flight schedules are now usually for 4 flights per day, although sometimes this is only 3 for example on weekends.It is still advisable to book a couple of days in advance though in order to get the flight time you would like but be aware the delays can possibily disrupt schedules and your booked time might change anyway.

The runway in "Rurre" is grass so if it is wet then nothing can land or take off. Sometimes it rains early on or during the night and the runway is wet so nothing can go other times it might not rain until the later afternoon or evening so things go fine. Delays can last for days and sometimes flights leave reliably for a few days in a row. The good news is that if you cannot or dont want to wait any longer after your flight has been delayed for a day or so you can get a full refund on both flights and tours so there is no risk of losing your money.
